During my 91 days in flight school, I had 7 checkrides. (Private pilot, instrument rating, commercial pilot, multi-engine rating, CFI, CFII, and MEI)

Much to my disappointment, I actually failed the oral exam on my private pilot check ride because I wasn’t well prepared. 

In other words, I did have a great study plan.

After I figured out how to properly prepare for a checkride, I’m happy to say I never failed another one.
