Since posting my first video on YouTube where I posed the question, “Is 53 too old to become an airline pilot?“, my life has been kind of a whirlwind.
Since then, the following things happened:
- I enrolled in flight school, earned 7 pilot ratings, and then built a crazy successful flight school
- Just 13 months after starting my training, I received a job offer from the largest US regional airline and I start my jet training with them in Feb 2025
- My YouTube channel became insanely popular with tens of thousands of other career 2.0 folks who’d dreamt of becoming airline pilots
- I earned just over $167,000 in 12 months as an independent CFI and content creator.

Now that my goal of becoming an airline pilot has been achieved, I’m focused on my next goal, using all my time off to become a super-successful professional real estate investor with at least 20 doors in my portfolio over the next 36 months.
